Dear Legislator,

I am writing to urge you to support the Missouri First-Time Homebuyer Initiative, which would provide Missourians with more opportunities and incentives to help save for their first home.

Down payments, closing costs, taxes and fees are creating barriers for hard-working citizens who are trying to buy their first home.

If adopted, the Missouri First-Time Homebuyer Initiative would help Missourians achieve the dream of homeownership by creating a dedicated savings account to be used exclusively toward the purchase or construction of a first home.

Student loan debt and stalled wages continue to be barriers to homeownership. The Missouri First-Time Homebuyer Initiative will help us overcome those barriers and encourage homeownership. I hope you will support the initiative and vote yes on this legislation.
