A Common-Sense Idea

HELP FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYERS SAVE FOR A DOWN PAYMENT FASTER.

Colorado is already one of a handful of innovative states that has adopted a First-Time Homebuyer Savings Accounts program to help residents save for their first home.

It’s time to build on the success of this program by giving employers the option to match employee contributions to these accounts.

Not only will this help first-time homebuyers save even faster for their down payment and other closing costs, it also gives employers a new benefit to recruit and retain talented employees.

This common-sense idea will help even more Colorado families plant roots in a neighborhood as a homeowner and become active and contributing members of their communities.
