Kansas housing market remains competitive due to lack of inventory
In August the Kansas housing market remained competitive due to lack of inventory. Sale prices continue to rise.
Despite rising prices and limited options, buyers are taking advantage of the low interest rates, driving down the average days on the market and increasing home sales.
While competition tends to peak in April and May, low mortgage rates will drive a strong market this fall (2019 REALTORS® Confidence Index Survey).
